Grant Programs

2024 Travel Grants

The GUMC Center for Innovation and Leadership in Education (CENTILE) is pleased to offer a limited number of travel awards for members of the Georgetown University Medical Center’s Teaching Academy to attend a professional conference in health professions education during the Spring 2024 semester.

Priority will be given to individuals who are presenting at the meeting and/or planning on taking a faculty development course at the conference. The deadline for applications is December 1, 2023.

To apply for financial support to attend a conference, complete the following application.


You may choose to attend an education-focused meeting in your discipline (such as those offered by
anatomy or physiology societies), or to attend a general education conference such as the ones below:

2020 Travel Grants

The GUMC Center for Innovation and Leadership in Education (CENTILE) and MedStar Health are pleased to partner to offer financial support for MedStar Educators and members of the Georgetown University Medical Center’s Teaching Academy to attend the following upcoming faculty development conferences. The deadline for all applications is November 29, 2019.

For those meetings noted with an asterisk (*), strong preference for selection will be given to members of the GUMC Teaching Academy.
